Operator-managed Kafka

Strimzi (CNCF) ships a Kafka operator for Kubernetes. You declare a Kafka CR; the operator handles StatefulSets, PVCs, certs, KRaft controllers, rolling upgrades, rebalances and cruise-control integration.

Pair with KafkaTopic and KafkaUser CRs so topics and ACLs are GitOps-managed alongside the cluster.
